Many times the audience that would be best served by your message is extremely inaccessible and living in places of the world where connectivity is very expensive. People do have mobile phones but the data plan is precious and very expensive and used to connect with family and friends. In such an environment, using this data plan to download or stream engaging, interactive content can indeed be a daunting proposition.
Our customer, Sensible Schools, faced just such a problem when delivering an entrepreneurship course in South Sudan. The course is developed by Dr. Brian Baugus of Regent University and is an effective introduction to entrepreneurship and basic economics concepts. The first cohort of this course (delivered without the PostPossible platform) faced significant number of drop-outs with the biggest reason being that connectivity was expensive and thus the students could not consume or stream the content.
Sensible Schools was brought in and using the PostPossible platform enabled delivery of the course material without connectivity through P2P sharing. The instructor was the only one to download the full course using a data plan. After that, the instructor used the capabilities within the PostPossible platform to send the course over local area network without consuming any bandwidth to all the students. The second cohort was a smashing success and in fact the winners of the business plan competition at the end were featured on a local radio station!
The PostPossible platform makes possible connecting and interacting globally with low- and intermittently connected users. It is designed to allow offline, viral distribution of even high bandwidth content when necessary.
